Palak ke Paranthe

Ingredients:

Stuffing:

  1. Palak - 1 bunch of stalks and leaves - finely chopped
  2. green chillies - very finely chopped - 2
  3. cumin powder - 1/2 tspn
  4. salt - a pinch
  5. a drop of oil
Parantha:

  1. Atta - whole wheat flour - 3 cups
  2. yogurt - 1 cup - 125 ml
  3. milk - 2 tblspns
  4. water - as needed
  5. salt - a pinch
Procedure:
Stuffing :

  1. in a small dish, heat oil and add in the cumin powder and garlic, and saute for 2 min
  2. add in the green chillies and palak and salt and cook for 2- 3 min
  3. take it off the heat and let it cool down, - for about 10 min
  4. now squeeze out all the water out of it and let it rest
Parantha:

  1. make a dough out of the ingredients of the parantha
  2. let it rest for atleast 1/2 hr
  3. now make balls of the dough
  4. take each ball, flatten out the edges, place small amount of stuffing inside, seal in with the edges
  5. dip it in dry flour, roll them out into paranthas
  6. toast them on your tawa with drops of oil
Serve hot!!

These can be eaten just as it with Yogurt - or can be served with your favorite dal or subzi!!
