Ingredients:
- Paneer - 200 gm , cut into cubes
- Almonds - 150 gm, soaked in water for 1 hr, and then skinned
- Garlic - 5-6 cloves, finely chopped
- Red chillies - 4-5
- aesofotida - 1/2 tsp
- Kasuri Methi (dried fenugreek leaves) - 30 gm
- Fresh Fenugreek leaves - 40 gm - chopped finely
- milk - 30 ml
- water - 20 ml
- Salt
- turmeric
- Oil to cook
- Grind the almonds with milk and water, to a fine paste.
- In a deep dish, heat oil and add the chopped garlic and chillies and aesofotida
- after 1 min, add half the kasuri methi and half the fresh methi leaves
- cook till the methi leaves wilt and then add in the almond paste.
- cook for about 7 min, till it gets cooked.
- add in the rest of the dry and fresh methi leaves, and cook for aother 3 min.
- add the paneer cubes, salt, turmeric and cook for another 2 min.
