Rava Pongal

Rava / Sooji - 1 cup
Dehusked Green Gram Dhal - 0.25 cup
Water - 3.75 cups
Ghee - 6 to 7 tbsp

Pepper, Cashew, Jeera, Curry Leaves, Ginger

  1. Cook dhal 3/4th and keep it aside
  2. In a kadai, add Ghee and do the seasoning. Then add water and salt.
  3. Once it boils well, add dhal  and mix well.
  4. Add rava slowly and keep stirring simultaneously. (It prevents lumps)
  5. Add oil as needed. Mix well and continue till sooji is cooked.
  6. Once done, serve hot with coconut chutney
