Capsi Curry

  • Capsicum - 6 (medium size)
  • Coconut - 1/4 coconut
  • Green Chillies - 5 (as per taste it can vary)
  • Salt
  • Poppy seeds - little
  • Oil
  1. Grind green chillies, coconut, poppy seeds and salt together. (Little water can be added if required)
  2. Cut capscicum into pieces. (Small or big as per u r taste).
  3. In a kadai, add little oil, season with mustard, jeera, and curry leaves
  4. Add cut capsicum and ground paste.
  5. Fry well. Add oil if required.
  6. Once the curry is fried well, it is ready to serve.
  • In case small capsicums are available, u can slit the capsicum and stuff the ground paste. Then fry the stuffed pieces as above.
  • In case of preparing using oven, mix capsicum pieces, and ground masala in a bowl.
  • Add little oil (two to three spoons) microwave it for few minutes. Then stir again once and microwave till curry is done. ( It might take around 7 - 10 minutes approximately).
