Mangalore Bonda

Ingredients:

All Purpose Flour(Maida) - 1 cup
Green Chillies - 3
Sour Curd - required for binding
Salt - as per taste
Baking Soda/Bicarb - ½ tsp

Procedure:
  1. Grind green chillies.
  2. Mix maida, salt, green chillies paste and cooking soda.
  3. To this mixture add sour curd as much required to make it into a thick batter.
  4. Leave this batter for half an hour.
  5. Heat oil and make small balls from batter and deep fry till golden color
Note:
The batter should be very thick. Do not add water. Add sour curd. In case curd is very sour add little fresh curd.
