Ingredients:
1. Pears – a little less than a kilo
2. Plain-all-purpose-flour – 125 gm
3. Cocoa powder – 25 gm
4. Caster/Super fine Sugar – 125 gm
5. Veg oil – 150 ml + little more for greasing
6. Baking powder – 1- 1.5 tspn
7. Eggs -2
8. Vanilla Essence – 1-2 tspns
Procedure:
1. Preheat the oven to 200 C
2. Cut pears into halves and lay them down upside in a greased cake tin.
3. Put everything except the pears in the processor and blitz till all combines.
4. Now pour the mixture over the pears. The mixture would be a semi-paste, so you would have to work it out over the pears.
5. Bake for about 30-35 min.
Serve hot or cold, with hot chocolate fudge/sauce on top!
Makes an excellent dessert!
