Beetroot Chappathi

Ingredients

  1. Beetroot-1
  2. Chillies (red/green)- 2 or 3
  3. Garlic --3-4 pieces
  4. Ginger-- 2-3 pieces
  5. Small onion -4
  6. Turmeric powder
  7. Salt
  8. Oil
  9. Wheat flour
  • Grate the beetroot and cook in the pressure cooker for one whistle
  • Take chillies, garlic, ginger, small onion and grind it into paste in mixie
  • Just fry the above said paste in oil till the raw smell goes
  • Then add cooked beetroot, turmeric powder and salt to the paste. Smash the beetroot well
  • Add the final mixture with the wheat flour and make it into dough suitable for chappathi. ( oil can be added to the dough mixture if required)
  • Side dish: Kurma, tomato and onion mix

Note: Along with beetroot u can add grated carrot and potato
